Click Boom Pow design studio’s NRM project.
As described by the designers:

A design that makes our urban environments more useful & beautiful, NRM (New Role Models) comes in the form of this chair. NRMs have been distributed throughout New York City, & are now being manufactured & distributed in Perth, Australia. Each NRM is made from 1/4 inch steel, bent, laminated with vinyl, & requires a wall to function.

Inspired by his encounters with socio-spatial theory in his architectural and design studies, German artist Oliver Schau began installing this guerilla seating around Hamburg in order to highlight the encroachment of privitized or constrained spaces on urban public space. His installations of yellow drainpipe serve to facilitate pedestrian appropriations of places that would otherwise be underutilized or uncomfortable.
